The Backyard Wineries tasting room at 45 West Main Street in Los Gatos is now closed for remodeling. Weâll re-open in March 2008. The new
tasting room will be operated exclusively by Fleming Jenkins as part of our wineryâs expansion and growth. We will be sure to let you
know about our Grand Re-Opening! We appreciate your support, and look forward to greeting you in our wine tasting room and retail
store. Look for updates in the next newsletter.
In the meantime, your favorite Fleming Jenkins wines are available on our secure website by clicking here. As a special thank you for your patience and support during our remodel, all orders of four bottles or more received by 3/1/08 will have shipping included. | Vineyard Update | |

Greg has started pruning the vineyard and is looking ahead to another great growing season and the 2008 harvest. Yes, we are already
thinking about harvest!
The recent storms in our area made national news. We had quite a bit of rain and very strong winds ö up to 105 mph in the Los Gatos Hills. There were a lot of people without power for several hours, including most of the FJ team. While our Chardonnay vineyard is at the top of a ridge in the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, it is used to these occasional windy conditions. We all made it through the storm just fine and enjoyed another adventure with Mother Nature. |
