| Jenkins Vineyard Update | |
| March, April and May have been much more cold and rainy than usual, but without harm to the vineyard. Typically the Chardonnay vines begin to push new shoots and leaves in the first 10 days of March, but this year we didn't declare "bud break" until March 19th. The cooler weather since then has slowed shoot growth, but the vines have plenty of time to catch up. Now, the tiny green grape clusters are nearly ready to bloom and then self-pollinate. We are hoping that the rain and cold weather go away soon and are replaced with sunny, warm and dry days so that we’ll get a very productive fruit set. Each year the weather is different and so we prepare our farming plans with this in mind. | |

during our regular business hours and we'll have your order ready to go in half an hour.
To pick up your wine, simply pull into the parking driveway directly behind our Tasting Room (turn onto Park Avenue from West Main Street and then take an immediate right into the driveway - Fleming Jenkins is the second door). Then give us a call at (408) 358-4949, or knock on the back door, and we'll deliver the wine directly into your car. No need to find a parking spot! While we always enjoy seeing you inside the Tasting Room, this is an excellent way to save time and obtain wine for those last minute needs when you're on the go! |

sample of 2008 Napa Valley Petit Verdot, one of the wines that later will be a component of our 2008 Choreography. This will be paired

Saturday, June 12th - 11:00 am to 5:00 pm - Second Saturdays in Los Gatos – over 100 businesses throughout Los Gatos will have special offerings and sales throughout the day. Fleming Jenkins will offer a 15% discount on any 4 bottle purchase and include a complimentary eco-friendly reusable wine tote to carry them home. Saturday and Sunday, June 12th and 13th - Santa Cruz Mountains Winegrowers Association Vintners' Festival - This annual event is held on both days so you can visit our Tasting Room and other nearby locations hosting local wineries!
